Museum of Medicine
The Museum of Medicine was very interesting and eye opening. All of the artifacts were very intriguing and I did not know things could be so beautiful. The poetry collection was very interesting and beautiful to hold offerings. I thought it was pretty cool to see the scalpels and tweezers possibly used back in the times for surgeries as that is what my paper was on. Overall it was an interesting museum.

I thought this museum gave a nice overview of the past, present, and future of medicine. My favorite part was the downstairs section. Those room recreations really helped give the sense of the environments in which science and medicine were performed throughout history.
ReplyDeleteThat 1960's layout with the scalpels and the old time chair was definitely eye opening....Yes I totally agree! It is incredible how quickly time has evolved the medical industry into something that has prolonged our life span by a magnitude of two and a half! I am glad that they deal with the blood and the gore that is the history of this medicine
